This Children’s Privacy Policy supplements the Yisi Privacy Policy. Yisi is an educational product that may be used by A-Level and IGCSE students, including students who are minors.

1. Guidance for parents and guardians

Parents and guardians should review this policy and the main Privacy Policy with a child before the child uses Yisi. Please help the child provide only the information needed for learning and do not allow the child to upload another person’s information without permission.

2. Information about children

Yisi may process a child’s learning records, questions, answers, uploaded question images, wrong-question records, and study progress when the child uses the relevant learning features. We do not need a child’s identity document, precise location, or unrelated sensitive information to provide ordinary learning features.

If a feature requires a camera, photo library, microphone, or file permission, Yisi will request that permission for the relevant feature. A parent or guardian may help the child manage those permissions through the device settings.

Where applicable law requires parental or guardian consent before collecting a child’s personal data, Yisi will seek or rely on that consent as required. We use children’s information only to provide, secure, support, and improve the learning service and for other purposes permitted by applicable law.

We do not knowingly sell children’s personal data or use it for unrelated targeted advertising.

4. Parent or guardian requests

A parent or guardian may contact us to ask about a child’s personal data, request correction or deletion, withdraw consent where applicable, or ask to close the relevant account. We may request reasonable information to verify the requester’s identity and relationship to the child.

5. If you believe we collected information improperly

If you believe a child provided personal data without the required consent, contact us promptly. We will review the matter and take appropriate action, which may include deleting the information where required.
